I recently had to replace the release bearing on my 83 900T, and had the clutch and slave cylinder done at the same time since it is all the same labor. Cost was $600US in upstate NY, labor and parts, from the local Saab dealer. I would suggest that any work you have done in this area, you should have all 3 parts done together. If you are doing the work yourself, it involves removing the clutch assembly (with slave and release bearing) off the rear of the engine (the end facing front <smile>). I have been told that the slave has a nasty habit of leaking once it has been pulled off the shaft.
