From what I've heard (Car and Driver long term test, for one) the V6's have been less reliable in the 900's than the 2.3 L and 2.0 L Turbo inline 4's. So if you go 900 (much more modern car, sportier feeling, but smaller) I would recommend the four cylinder engine.
