Subject: Re: how to clear 89 clarion anti-theft radio

Hey Greg, I had a similar problem on my 92 stock radio. I wound up holding down the radio tuning button for about 2 seconds, until it beeped and cleared the code, then reentered the proper code and it worked. I don't know if it will work on yours. Good luck! --Chris On Sun, 09 Nov 1997 21:46:59 -0600, gbfnopsamay.net (Greg Franks) wrote: > >i have a 89 900s with the stock clarion anti-theft radio. >several times after having the battery disconnected, >i had to enter the 4-digital code (which i know) to get the radio >to work again. the last time this happened, i entered 1 wrong digit of the >code and the radio locked-up. i thought that if i disconnected >the battery, then i would be able to reenter the code and the radio >would work again; it did not. even after leaving the battery disconnected >for 2 hours, it is still locked-up while displaying the wrongcode that i >entered. > >how can i get my radio working again? > >thanks.
