Thanks. > evan > '88 900S I have an '87 900 S and the light in the auto shifter went out on me too. However, it has always marked the correct spot. To fix this, you should try taking off the plastic cover around the auto "stick" and look for pulled wires. The wires are probably pulled from the light which is connected to the stick. I had to solder them back together. Let me know what happens or what you see. Thanks.
