Subject: Safety Harness



I own a 1988 Saab Turbo 16v (coupe, 2 door).   I have recently found
that the safety harness on the drivers side has got increasingly harder
to pull out, to the point where it is very stiff indeed.   This was
followed by the same thing beginning to happen on the passengers side.

        Is there anyone who can advise what my remedy is, how I get to
the anchorage and whether it is something I could do for myself.
