As entertaining as the Haynes manual's language is, it's not that great for technical accuracy. Save yourself the confusing information in the Haynes and spring for a genuine SAAB 99 factory manual. You should be able to get into one for under $100 (say "ouch" here), but you can be assured of getting CORRECT and EXACT technical information without exceptions.
