How often do you have the brake fluid changed? It's a good idea to have it done every year as the fluid absorbs moisture which decreases it boiling point and corrodes expensive ABS master cylinders, which are big bucks to replace. Have the fluid flushed and you should see the time it takes for the lights to go out decrease. This assumes there is nothing else wrong with the brake system. Chances are that's all you need.
