Hey. It's me again with my '88 900S automatic. It has 82k and still moves. Most of the time. It has much reduced power in the mornings (cold starts), and doesn't seem to want to shift out of 1st gear. Lately, it has even stalled a few secs after it was started and just idling. If I give it gas just after it starts up (in park), the engine sounds wierd at around 2 rpms, like it doesn't seem to want to do that. After a few seconds, like 15 secs, it is better and I can give it gas and it sounds normal. Also, I had the thermostat replaced because the heat was cutting out when the temperature in the engine went up and then the heat came back when you started going again, but the problem is still present. Any ideas? Yes, it was a Saab thermostat. Thanks. Evan Maboulnopsamcom Maboulnopsamnet (so you don't make fun of Maboulnopsamcom)
