Although I own a 94 900S, I don't know about specifics with the cars. I did have a similar deal with a VW Jetta and it was a minor crack on the bottom of the plastic overflow resevoir. Fumes came in via the vent system. Cheap & easy to replace the resevoir. Good luck. Clark
