Subject: 92 SAAB 9000 CD Turbo

My 9000 CD runs great. Asside from the occational "gremlin" in the electrical system I've had few problems with one major exception: for the past 3 years an occational electrical "spike" from an uknown source causes advisory lights to illuminate, the head lamps to flicker, and loud "popping" noises in the stereo system. I've had the electrical system checked, the altenator/regulator rebuilt, and cleaned every connection, ground, and relay concievable without success. Most recently, I demonstrated the problem to the technician but they still have not been able to issolate, identify, and correct this anomaly. If left uncorrected, I beleive, it will result in unnecessary wear and tear and premature failure of other delicate (and expensive) electronic components. Have you ever heard of this before and what can you tell me that might help?
