I was pranged by a Vauxhall Vectra this morning when I stopped at a junction. Nice young man had been breaking the 2 second rule for about 1/2 a mile in a built up area, I slowed, flashing my break lights for a junction. Had to stop for a large 4wd to go by on the main road and the Vectra slammed into the back of my 1994 9000 CSE. Cue - Pete walks round to the back of his car, sees the Vectra with a very short bonnet, no front lights, water coming from the radiator and a very poorly looking bumper. I went round to the back of the Vauxhall to take the registration number, not daring to look at the condition of the back of my car. Eventually plucked up the courage. Scuff mark on the rear bumper. Boot opens fine, can't tell it happend. I'll have the car in to check out the bumper, but in the mean time, thank you SAAB, just wish it had been a 9-5 with SAHR. One day perhaps...
