Subject: SAAB Electronic Questions

My 92' 9000 CD Turbo runs great! However, for the past couple of years an occational electical "spike" occurs causing the headlamps and panel lights to flicker, advisory lights to illuminate, and "popping noises in the sound system. Is there anyone out there who has had this problem and/or knows what I should do. I've checked (or had checked)/cleaned every connection, ground, battery pole, and relay I can think of and even had the altinator/regulator rebuilt (warrenty, thank God). Finally it acted-up in front of the technician but they still have not been able to isolate and correct this anomaly. I'm afraid if not corrected it will result in damage or premature failure of other delicate (and expensive) electronic components. Help! Howard Swaim lbswaimnopsamv.net (central texas area, U.S.)
