Subject: Saab 900 Transmission problems

I have a 89 saab 900S automatic transmission. I just had it completely rebuilt but still seem to be having problems with it shifting. Hope someone can comment that the behavior is normal. The shifting seems to often too late and sometime too early. Especially when it is cold outside (below 40 F), it really seems to exagerate the condition. AAMCO Transmission (there is only one place in New England the Saab dealers send you to) rebuilt it, has made several adjustments. The adjustments help to tighten the shifting but the shifts now hit hard rather than smooth. I can make it smoother by accelerating hard through the shift but that is not how I drive normally. Is this just the way these automatics are? Or after $3500 am I still dealing with trannie problems? -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
