Subject: 1984 Saab with 160K... should I buy?

Hi, Last night I test-drove a 1984 Saab (don't know the model, but it's a two-door sedan). Seems to run OK. Had just two owners. The original owner bought it in Sweden and had it transported to the U.S. This car has 160K on it, and the person sellinng it to me wants $1200. He just put a new clutch in it and the only thing that I noticed is that it doesn't idle well at a stop and will stall occasionally. This could be remedied with a tune-up, perhaps? Just wondering if anyone out there would suggest that I shy away from this or if I should take it for a year and get what I can out of it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at joenopsamanex.com Thanks, Joe -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
