Get the book "Car Buyer's and Leaser's Negotiating Bible" by W. James Bragg (Approx. $15). My wife and will never be taken by a car sales person again after reading this book. For an additional nominal charge (Approx. $20), of course, you can have the author send you all of the cost sheets on a particular car. We originally used this book to purchase a Honda Civic. We had sales people get flustered, sweat, stumble, and even yell at us for the amount of knowledge we had about real costs of everything from the car itself to the in-dash stereo system. It also teaches you how to turn the table on sales people to make them feel pressured into giving you want you want, rather than vice versa. Good Luck!
