John, did you buy your 90 9000 T new or used? If you bought it used, did you have a competent independent Saab mechanic check it out before you bought it? I ask these question because I am driving my third Saab, an 87 9000s. I had an 83 900T I bought new at the factory in May of 83 and an 87 900s I bought in September 95 from a private owner. I asked the questions because if you started with a car that had problems you did not know about, driving that car hard will only cause more problems. Most Saabs, if properly maintained, will not give you anymore problems than many other makes. BMWs, Audis and Corvettes are notorius based on what I have heard from the drivers of these other makes. Then again, there is a difference between driving a well made car hard and dogging a car out. Get a solid base line on your car and maintain it. If you want to check Technical Service Bulletins check out www.nhtsa.gov. Good luck. Ken W.
