The light is there to make sure the 02 sensor is functioning properly. It illuminates roughly every 30000 miles. It doesn't indicate a fault. There is a reset buttom just to the left of the steering column on US cars, under the dash. If you have trouble finding it, just remove the left speaker grill and trace the second speedo type cable from its off ceenter location at the back of the speedo down to the counter box and reset buttom. If you had the car serviced properly at the 120000 mile mark, the shop was negligent in not resetting the light.
