I'm shopping for a new car and I've driven the 900SE and loved it. But I keep hearing that buying a Saab is asking for trouble- with lots of maintenence and repairs. When I see a person driving a Saab - I usually get positive feedback - but the reputation must have come from somewhere. I am specifically interested in hearing from owners of 900SEs from 1996 through present. I'd like to know what problems have been encountered and how service and expense was to fix them. I'm also concerned a little about how well they hold their value. Any info is appreciated.
