concerning the fluid on the floor thing and faint smell of anti-freeze. 1. make sure the fan is going on about midway through the heat gauge. If it does not you need to get a new switch put in(located on the upper right-hand corner of the radiator) this switch if faulty will make either your overflow tank explode or it will destroy the internal conponates in your heater core. it will most likely end your thermosates life and some rubber hoses. 2. make sure your overflow cap is closed totally closed. this can also cause damage to the heater core. 3. also check to make sure your bleederneedle is totally closed. while you are at it make sure their is no air in the system. if you have a leak on the floor of you pass. side it HAS to be your heater core. Or Maybe if you are lucky it could be a small leak in one of the metal lines leading to the heater core. Try one thing if all of the above is good. Get some "cooling system sealing pellets" (must oil chaNge places will give you a few) put like 3 pellets in a rag and beat it with a hammer. until all you have is dust. then put it in when you have to add anti-freeze. This should clean up some small leaks. GOOD LUCK===SAABNEER====
