Did you find the cable? Basically, you need to pull up the carpeting on the left side. I seem to recall that removing the cover of the speaker on that side can help give you some slack. I vaguely remember bending the under-carpet portion of the bracket a little bit, and getting it to fit fairly well into the corner. I think mine is about 3/4" from the left wall. Once you find a spot, cut a small hole for the cable, and puncture the carpet where the four screws go. Put on the wing nuts, press everything back down into place, and you're set!
