Thanks I've had both problems on my '87 900S. The rough morning idle still continues to a certain extent, but I had a tune-up and a "fuel-injector" overhaul (injectors taken out and re-conditioned) which greatly alleviated the situation. Before this was done it would actually stall sometimes and the revs would bounce up and down wildly on idle. The coolant problem I've had seems to be related to the overflow bottle - the bottle or the cap seems to "spill over" somewhat when the engine is working at high temperatures - doesn't leak under normal circumstances. Enough to have to add coolant about once a month or so. I would have the injectors and cooling system checked out. Good luck!
