Anybody? > >Tim >bakernopsamnet Three possibilities: 1) the brushes in your alternator are getting pretty worn and are "floating" at higher RPMs due to lower spring pressure from the shorter length 2)the drive belt is slipping at higher RPMs from insufficent tension 3)the regulator can't handle the higher voltage at that RPM and is dropping out to protrect the battery and electronics My money is on #1 above.
