This happened to me recently.I have a ' 91 SPG with roughly 82k miles. I
noticed leaking brake fluid running down into my clutch itself and just
replenished the brake fluid.  My clutch had gone down to the floor and
required about 20 minutes of pumping before I went to work. XZC$# !!! What
eventually happened was that I lost all clutch function in a relatively
short amount of time and needed a clutch, slave and master cyllinder
replacement.  I got that fixed for about a grand- which is cheap.  Since I
let it go for so long, trying to milk it, I now have no reverse and have
done some damage to the transmission. Get it fixed. Now I have to deal with
the transmission.  Signed : GOING FORWARD ONLY!
