In 25000 miles, I've lost both front fog lights and both front headlights. It's a '97 900S. The dealer has replaced them all, despite the warranty on bulbs being something like 15000 miles (two went by 10k, the rest by 25k). I've heard it said that if the bulbs are touched by human hands, they're doomed to blow prematurely (seriously, I've heard it from many sources). They need to be handled with cloths. Could be Saab doesn't know/believe this? Or it could just be GM trying to save a couple pennies per car by purchasing inferior product. Of course I found out today that the electrics in the '97 Saab are Lucas (of Lotus infamy, among others). That pretty much explains any electrical problems (indluding lights) that may come up...
