I have an '86 SAAB 900 with a stalling problem. The car starts fine and runs great, but occasionally the engine will stall when bringing the car to a stop and depressing the clutch. It's as if I switched off the ignition. No hesatation, it just dies. The engine restarts without any difficulty. The stalling is intermittent but very annoying, and dangerous when turning and the power steering goes out. All the vacuum lines were replaced last year so that should not be the problem. If anyone can help with a cause and a cure, it would be appreciated.
