May I ask how much you paid versus the sticker price? I know starting in September, Saab was offering steep discounts off the 900, but your car has got to be worth at least $20,000, maybe even $23,000. If you plan on keeping your car for a long time it really isn't going to hurt you in the long run, but of course if you trade it in after 2 or 3 years you will take a beating. And count yourself lucky you got a 1997 model versus the troublesome 1994 and 1995 models. Also your 900SE is a fun car. The 9-5 is more of a luxury car, so don't be too envious. And it doesn't even have an analog clock!
