Locating wheels should not be difficult at all.... It sounds like you have TRX wheels, though, and that may be difficult. I would recommend getting some wheels from an '83 or later 900, which use standard radial tire sizes... it will be more expensive in the short run, but over the long run you'll probably save money on tires.... Though I've never bought from them, I would take a look at http://www.sportscarservice.com or http://www.fixarim.com Both sell new/used/refurbed wheels, and Sportscar Service seems to have quite a selection of older Saab wheels...
