TIAV. > > Gene vw nut soon to be a saaber it's like buying any other car. listen for unusual sounds (the turbo engines whine (but that is good)) the transmission CAN be a problem but the noises from it will often give it away. rust is a good thing to check the fenders around the outside plastic fender guards seem to want to rust. look for wet oil on the underside of the engine/transmission. ask if it s ever been in an accident. hmm.. can seem to think of anything else.
