Chris, No the addiditves work just fine. Except this. if there is a small leak in the tranny. it will become a BIG one. and some new leaks might appear. It's in the nautre of the fluid to flow better and be more slippery. however it will slip right out of cracks in seals as well. Iv'e had the best luck with Amsoil 10W-40 and Duralube. for some reason those 2 work together REAL well. and i havn't seen and major leaks with them either.
