I have a 1980 900 Gli that is in excellent shape other than that there is rust along the wheel well on the front. I'd like to replace these with good, rust-free quarter panels and have it repainted. I'll soon be moving to Texas and don't anticipate the rust problems that I have in the midwest. I'd like to take care of the rust before I leave so I don't have to worry about it spreading. What do you guys think about pricing for a job like this? I'm not a body mechanic in the least and would have to have them installed. (or is this pretty easy to change)? Ideas about Painting? The color is Schmutbraun (that odd goldish brown of SAAB) and would like to maintain the exterior color as my interior is also brown. Thoughts?
