the automatic tranny on the 900 is a weak point. if the car has 92k miles, look to replace the tranny within the next 30(if you go easy on it) i think chris is wrong when he says all saabs were 16 valves, I know 900s/turbos had the sixteen valve, but a base model had an 8 valve good luck, theyre nice cars if maintained mike
