Subject: No K&N for '96 900SET?

It was raining for 11 straight days here in Boston, so last night I thought I'd try and raise my spirits a bit. I stopped at the local Pep Boys to buy a K&N air filter for the Black Saab, thinking that it would be a great addition to the factory sport exhaust. When I checked the K&N catalog at the store, there was NO listing for a '96 (or '97) 900 Turbo, although there was a listing for a '95. It's my understanding the the NG 900's are mechanically alike, so I investigated further and looked up the part numbers for '95 and '96 air filters in the Purolator catalog. Sure enough, they had the same part number! I questioned the counterman (don't know if it was Manny, Moe or Jack) who called the K&N 800 number. The response that he got was basically "Duh!" So, my question is: does anybody know for sure if there's a difference between the '95 and later 900's? Is the Saab air filter part number the same for both? Any reason why the K&N wouldn't work with a '96? Thanks, Mike
