I've seen some recent discussion on switching to Mobil 1 for SAAB turbos. But I have heard through SAAB mechanics that if the car is started on regular motor oil, switching to a synthetic is bad or noneffective. I have my sights set on a 1990 9000 turbo with only 66k miles offerred locally. I would switch to Mobil 1 in this automobile, but I'm wondering if its worth the cost. Jerry
