The SPG, IMHO, feels a lot >sportier, it's a lot louder, and looks a lot cooler. In fact, Saab now have a sports exhaust for the 9-3 and NG900 Turbos. I'm sure it sounds just like an SPG :) The brake and clutch pedals being too small and too close together on the manual version is one of my biggest peeves with the NG900 and 9-3. Next biggest peeve is the cross member that bisects the rear floor space when the back seat is down. Sure it makes the car solid but the car lacks the utility of the classic 900 with the flat load area. Torque steer was my biggest concern in moving to a NG900 but they must have equal length driveshafts, which is more complicated to do in a transverse engine layout. My biggest "complaint" with the turbo models is that it is very easy to break traction in 1st gear, I wonder if they limit boost or something in 1st and 2nd? If not, they should. The reason it is easy to accidentaly break traction is the lag time of the turbo. I guess with more seat time I'd get used to it. My old 900T (20BHP less) was easy to drive, even at full throttle. I don't understand why traction control was only fitted to the V6 engines - maybe it is a standard Bosch engine management feature that isn't in the Saab Trionic box?. Glenn
