Subject: Re: Sonett Engine SAAB or Ford?

Actually, the V-4 Ford engine was used in Europe in a couple different cars including the Taunus and the Capri in anywhere from a 1300cc up to a 2000cc. I believe it was also used briefly in the Corsair. However, it is only the Saab that used a Ford V4 for automotive purposes stateside. In the US the V-4 was distributed by Ford Industrial and used as a stationary engine to power smaller drill rigs, pumps, and the like. Hal.
