My 96 900SE has had the following problems ... Both rear doors started sticking ... dealer fixed the lock mechanisms. Now one door won't open at all :-0 Windshield wiper fluid pump is broken ... again, it was halfway working until the dealer fixed it, now it doesn't work at all. Air conditioning valve was replaced because it was producing an irritating resonance. power seat mechanism broken on passenger seat. Overall, it's not been perfect but mechanically it's never let me down after 2 years, and 43K miles. I drove the convertible as a loaner and it was really nice ... even though I dropped the top in January! Don't buy the 9-3 though unless you don't mind being a beta tester ... wait a year until they get the bugs out. Tricia wrote: > My husband and I are thinking about buying a new SAAB 900 convertable.
