I have a similar problem: In my 93 9000 CSE the cruise control suddenly drops out, just like yours, or I won't be able to set it. But it appears randomly and if I drive like 3h it might work at the departure, drop out after 10 minutes and work again after 1 hour. My repair shop has tried about 4 times to find the bug with little success. They keep cleaning the vacuum tubes and it seems to help for about 4 days to 2 weeks, after this same thing as before. Any hints? Achim
