I was browsing a site recommended in another thread, and ran accross this recent Saab article: http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/press/062798.html about the new mirrors installed on US Saabs. Bravo. Faulty mirrors which do not eliminate blind spots are one of the toughest parts of driving (particularly in a convertible, with terrible vision limited by all the canvas). They've done the obvious and made it unecessary for us to go the supermarket and pick up little add-ons. Apparently they can't install these on the drivers side in the US because US law allows only flat mirrors installed by the manufacturer. Go figure. Anyway, score one for the good guys. JL
