Hi, I've driven an automatic 9-5 2.3 and found the performance a little sluggish, but otherwise really liked the car. The SE is very well equipped, when you are comparing prices if it is like the UK, make sure you compare the BMW with all the extras like AirCon and leather that you get as standard in the Saab.
