Subject: Re: Saab 900 Airflow

I own an '87 900 Turbo with an airflow package which was also bought overseas. The looks awesome and drives like a dream. As far as I know, SAAB never sold the 900 in the US with the airflow kit installed. Some dealers bought the aftermarket kit, and installed it to sell the car at a premium, but most airflow models I've seen were bought as overseas models via either military personnel, or via SAAB's IDS European delivery service. However, be warned that the airflow kit is both a wonderful and awful thing (after owning mine for almost 8 years, I know). It's wonderful because the car is a real head-turner. I get compliments all the time. It's awful, because you have to literally "inch" into every parking lot and driveway to avoid scraping due to the limited ground clearance. Just be prepared to deal with it... In any case, good luck. -Brian B. cbr f1 wrote in message <01bda75c$c37cae80$bb3d19d0nopsamult>... >Does any one here know how many Saab 900 airflow's were sold in North >America?
