The turbo in a 900 is at the front right corner of the car, just behind the passenger side headlight. It's also very low in the car - a solid 6" or more below the hood and has a decent amount of free air around it - it's also right behind the auxiliary cooling fan. There is a metal and asbestos (?) heat shield between the turbo and the battery, but that's it. -Justin
