Subject: Re: '87 9000S Wiring Diagram

Well, I do have an acuator. The system I'm trying to install is a Bulldog Security remote start system with remote lock/unlock. I'm running into difficulty with the remote start. Today, after fooling around in the blistering sun, I manged to find a pair of wires underneath the divers dash. It's just under neath that cardboard/felt barrier. Removing the left screw might be enough to see it, but I saw a rectangular box with several wires coming from it. Now, I just played with the wires and a continuity probe and it appears that SAAB's use a negative pulse lock/unlock mechanism...meaning, grounding the appropriate wire will cause a lock or unlock. The green wire is the lock and the red wire is the unlock...if I remember correctly. But, here's where it becomes interesting. All the doors unlock and unlock EXCEPT the drivers door. It's closed, but it still won't unlock or lock. So, I'm thinking there are other wires that I must try. Has anybody had experience removing the driver's door panels. I guess that's the only way to get in there. Anybody got ideas???
