Subject: Re: Saab 9000 won't start

I spoke to an independent Saab Service shop and they informed me that the 88,89 Saab 9000 had a connection of some sort.....they wouldn't let me know for sure........that needed replacement. But after all was said.....they still wanted me to bring the car to the shop for some diagnostics. Makes sense.......but I don't have the cash flow right now to pay shop rates. Hoping to solve problem myself... All I want to know is why a mechanic can't tell us exactly what connection is bad. I think they have a pretty darn good idea of what it is! My buddy thinks Auto trans neutral switch.......sounds possible to me:-) Thanks for any help. jeffreybnopsamitone.com DHG wrote in message <35A6F779.A9AFD836nopsamell.net>... >Jeff Blackman wrote: > >> My 88 9000 turbo won't start after warming up or setting in the sun. >> If I >> pop the hood and cool it down for 20 min. it will start no prob.
