FS: Best offer on a 1985 Saab 900 (not an S or Turbo), parts or whole shebang. Baltimore, MD. Hampden/JHU area. Car is non-operating. Will start, drives fine in reverse <G>, gearbox shot. Engine needs work as well, 5sp manual. Known good parts: Fairly new xtra bright halogen headlights, new battery (few months old bought in early spring), body in nice shape (would look sweet with a compounding and touch up or new paint and new emblems, currently white). Rebuilt water pump (about 1 yr old). All reflector lenses intact. Has towing hitch/mount in rear and wiring harness for towing trailer. Known marginal parts: possible bad valve (engine), bad clutch pedal, grinding gearbox, headliner drooping, Clarion radio dead (using cheap aftermarket), tires worn, emblems/badges faded. Some rust at inside edge of doors at drain holes, back/inside of fuel flap, not visible from outside. Car would be nice rebuild project, strong 4-cyl engine when tuned. I live in city and don't have a garage else I would keep it and rebuild myself. Best offer on all or parts. You will need to arrange towing or pay for car hitch rental if I tow with my pickup.
