Paul, I think I read a posting in the www.saabnet.com Bulletin Board that mentioned self leveling or a type of air shock on the rear of some 9000 models. I have an 87 9000s, I bought this past December. You might check www.shox.com or Impex Distributors, 1-800-736-3550. If you have the special shocks and springs, you may have to change springs as well as shocks to save money. I would try to find a Boge, which is OEM or Bilstein shock.
