Subject: Small scratch on my 9 mo. old Saab

I won't bore you with all the details but apparently a car on my right got a little too close and their mirror scratched and slightly dented my right front door panel just below the window. Since their mirror housing was plastic it mostly left a whitish paint scratch on my black surface. I don't want to report the accident for fear of AAA saying it was my fault and raising my rates. What is the best method for removing another car's paint from my car's surface? A friend thought she saw some compound advertised on late night tv for just this purpose. I would rather do this myself and hope that a call to the body shop isn't necessary. Any advice would be much appreciated. Carter Tomassi carternopsamyoptics.XXXcom Please remove the XXXs
