Doesn't take more than 30 mins. 1. Pull out all the switches (headlight, foglights, seatheater, a/c, hazard, recirc., a defrost) - they pop right out. Label them all. Also remove your radio. 2. Remove the steering wheel (optional, but recommended, unless you have an airbag) 3. Remove the four screws under the dash - they are very long and one is hidden inside the ashtray compartment, so you'll need to pull out the ashtray. 4. Pull the front fascia forwards, being very very careful. You'll have to unplug the power mirrors, fan speed control, and the four wires connected to the ventilation distribution switch. Label these four wires or you'll forget where they go. Also remove the rod between the temp control knob and the firewall. And, remove the vacuum lines going to the air flow distribution switch - there's a brass-looking collar which is removed, allowing you to pull all the vacuum lines off at once, in position. 5. Remove the fascia completely. 6. Remove the speaker grilles (two screws ea.) 7. Remove the two screws under the speaker grilles, and the two screws under the glovebox. 8. Remove the dashboard 9. Working from the back of the display, disconnect the two connectors and the speedo cable. The speedo cable is held on by a single screw which hold the retainer assy. 10. Remove the four screws holding the display to the dash crossmember. Putting everything back together is exactly the opposite. The thing to note is that the four long screws holding the fascia in are all of different lengths, but they are labelled. Near the head of the screw are between one and four "rings" cut into the screw. The one with one ring goes on the far left, the one with four goes on the far right. Also, make sure you put the heater temp control knob's rod back in place - it attaches to the heater control valve in back and can be a pain to line up... but it's rather important. -Justin P.S.
