What you call clutch oil is really brake fluid. My 83 900T 5 spd, 87 900S 5 spd and current 87 9000S 5 spd all work the same way. If you stored your for 8 months, it is a good possibility that seals dried out allowing fluid to leak out. If you have a power steering rack don't be surprised if those seals dry out and leak as well. My 83 900T was in storage at a professional car storage place for 17 months.
