The dark color of your new 9-5 is going to make the car a heat sponge. In 1972 I bought a Toyota Celica ST, in a dark blue color called Cobalt Blue. It was a beautiful dark blue, looked like a million dollars after a wax job, but the car got hot in the sun. I have an 87 9000S in rose quartz with the burgundy interior and leather seats. The darker interior takes a while to cool off. Metallic exterior cools off fairly quickly in the shade, but your dark color in the sun will draw heat. Ken Washington 87 9000S Upper Marlboro, MD
