Is there a cure? I had luck increasing the performance tremendously in my '95 900 SE convertible (manual transmission) by replacing the engine chip. Cost was $1,500 through a dealer, and worth every penny (I believe that the chip came from the UK; it was not from Saab). I'd suggest that you ask your local dealer. Jerry
